Our History and Purpose: For over 100 years, the Kansas Day Club has play an important role in celebrating the birth and history of the State of Kansas. It has, on an annual basis, organized a series of events celebrating Kansas Day, the date on which Kansas was admitted to the Union. These events have promoted the State of Kansas and have deepened the appreciation of Kansas for their State.
Like the State of Kansas itself, the activities organized by the Kansas Day Club have been closely associated with the Kansas Republican Party. This is appropriate because of the great Republican tradition in the state of Kansas. While this association is important and will continue, Kansas Day activities will be, as in the past, open to all citizens who care enough about Kansas and its great history to participate in Kansas Day. The Kansas Day Club is pledged to continue to celebrate Kansas Day by annually planning events of interest to the public and to Republicans throughout the State. It is pledged to be celebrating the history of Kansas and the achievements of its citizens. It is pledged to continue to play the important role it had played in the life of Kansas for the past century.
